Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,000 to $3,062 per week in Grosse Pointe, MI

Henry Ford St. John's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to provide leadership and expert clinical care during complex cardiovascular surgical procedures. The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement care for surgical patients, ensuring high-quality outcomes and seamless communication with the surgical team. This role requires proficiency in both circulating and cardiac scrubbing.

• Surgical Coordination: Lead the coordination and delivery of compassionate care within the CVOR suite.
• Clinical Execution: Perform cardiac scrub duties and circulating responsibilities for various cardiovascular cases.
• Nursing Process: Conduct thorough patient assessments, formulate effective nursing care plans, and document all care provided.
• Communication: Act as a central point of communication for patient/family information within the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Problem Solving: Identify variances from patient goals and implement effective clinical solutions.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed.
• Shift Flexibility: The facility offers three shift options (all starting at 6:00 AM):
  • Five 8-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
  • Four 10-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Three 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
• Block Scheduling: Available.
• On-Call: Required (48 hours of call per six-week schedule period; must be available for 1 weekend per month).
