The client is open to a 3x12 or 4x12 schedule for this position. On-Call requirements are 36 hours every 6 weeks. Weekend requirements include every other weekend or two weekends per month. Travelers requesting time off during any holiday or holiday week will not be accommodated. This policy applies to specific holidays throughout the year. Travelers may address any holiday time off directly with the manager after arriving onsite for their assignment. Floating is expected to Mother/Baby based on staffing needs. The nurse-patient ratio on the Labor and Delivery unit is 1:2. Experience with various procedures and patient care practices in Labor and Delivery is required. Candidates should ensure compliance with residency documentation, including proof of address. Continuing education and license renewals should be initiated if nearing expiration. Travelers should not have local address discrepancies associated with license verification.
