Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License - State of Michigan Certifications: BLS, NRP, C-EFM, STABLE Must-Have: - RN License - Basic Life Support Certification - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification - Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification Description: Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the nursing process which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes. Provides evidence-based nursing care consistent with the interprofessional plan of care and in accordance with policies and regulatory standards. Communicates and collaborates with other members of the health care team to ensure continuity and coordination of care. Acts as a patient and family advocate. Performs point of care testing as required. Demonstrates a high standard of moral, ethical, and culturally sensitive behavior.
