Shifts: 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, every 3rd weekend

Specializing in intensive cardiac care, this role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
  • Educate patient and family in health promotion and disease management.
  • Administer medications safely according to policy.
  • Support productivity and effective resource utilization.
  • Participate in Nursing Shared Governance and improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in professional development and nursing education.

  • Perform duties related to the Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator role when assigned.
  • Participate in the Clinical Ladder Program as expertise develops.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse License
  • BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
  • ACLS Certification
  • Experience with intensive cardiac patients and relevant equipment
  • Six months to three years of nursing experience
