Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 3 x 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years required License: Valid California RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required, AWHONN Advanced preferred Must-Have: - Experience in labor and delivery - Ability to circulate - Experience in large hospital settings Description: We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. No first-time travelers are accepted for this position. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. All skills and certifications mentioned are mandatory. Must be able to circulate in the labor and delivery unit. Experience in large hospital settings is highly preferred. Weekend shifts may exceed every other week to accommodate unit needs. Scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be considered. Travel pairs will not be considered. Guaranteed hours may vary, as the facility has the ability to call off once per pay period. This is for a Magnet-designated acute care hospital. All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or loss of guaranteed hours. Providers will be supplied with necessary communication devices at no cost. Modules are required to be completed before starting and annually thereafter. Time spent on modules is self-reported. Completion is recorded in transcripts.
