Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 10 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of specialty experience preferred; will consider 1 year of strong experience. Previous travel experience preferred. License: Oregon State License or proof of Oregon State License application/fingerprints required with submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring or Relais Fetal Monitoring. Must-Have: MFTI Certification preferred. Epic charting experience required for RNs. Locals cannot live within 50 miles of the facility. Description: MUST have applied for RN license. Previous charge experience is a plus. Patients include high and low-risk obstetrical patients, antepartum patients, and labor patients. Staff works on labor and postpartum units. Labor unit contains 12 labor beds, 1 triage room, and 3 operating rooms. Postpartum unit has 24 beds and can also monitor antepartum patients. Responsibilities include assisting with labor and delivery, including high-risk deliveries. Skills in amnioinfusion, high-risk antepartum care, and recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns are desired. Travelers are expected to float within the site and across the system. Education assigned must be completed within one week of assignment. Weekends and holidays may be required as needed. Mandatory cancellations due to low census may occur. One shift per two-week pay period may be canceled without cause or penalty. References from a charge, supervisor, or manager required with submission. Background checks must have no felony hits.
