We comprise a 122-bed acute care facility providing exceptional care in various areas. Locals enjoy a vibrant community with access to farmers markets, dining options, beautiful landscapes, and nearby beaches. Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care responsibilities. Meet established Standards of Nursing Practice and promote cooperation among the healthcare team. Actively participate in committees and encourage actions that promote good relations with patients, families, physicians, coworkers, and the community. Listen, observe, act, and follow through to completion while paying attention to personal needs. Introduce yourself and give full attention to others. Display initiative, offer assistance, and remove obstacles as needed. Maintain current professional licenses and certifications as required. Treat every coworker as a professional and coach them when necessary. Demonstrate knowledge of and adhere to all applicable professional and regulatory practice acts, state and federal regulations, and facility policies and procedures. Attend mandatory ethics programs to uphold the highest standard of ethical behavior. Demonstrate reliability as evidenced by attendance records and punctuality. Keep all hospital-related matters confidential and explore new approaches to problem-solving. Support change and serve as a change agent when necessary. Protect hospital resources through careful use of supplies and equipment. Practice safety standards, including proper body mechanics and appropriate use of personal protective equipment. Demonstrate understanding of and adherence to infection control principles. Keep work areas clean and clear of hazards, reporting any safety concerns promptly.
