- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Must-Have: EPIC experience required
Description:
Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment.
Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes.
Implements the plan and coordinates care delivery while promoting health and safety.
Evaluates progress toward achieving patient outcomes.
Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in delivering safe and effective care.
Provides learning opportunities for patients and family members.
Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment teams.
Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Delegates tasks appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Commits to the safety and well-being of associates and patients by adhering to all required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
Participates in E-Verify for employment verification.
Unit staffing includes nurses and surgical technicians, with specific coverage requirements for weekends.
Special equipment used on this unit includes fetal monitors, birthing beds, and anesthesia machines.
Special procedures performed include cesarean sections, D&C procedures, and others.
Client scrubs will be provided for staff.
