Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of acute care facility experience preferred License: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or other equivalent certification required - Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or equivalent certification required Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
