Location: Ohio

Pay: $2,700 weekly

Shifts: Straight Nights 7p-7:00a EOW and Holiday

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a rewarding role in Ohio. This travel assignment requires a dedicated nurse to deliver compassionate and expert care to expectant mothers and their newborns in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of maternal and fetal health during labor, delivery, and recovery.
  • Monitor vital signs, fetal heart rates, contractions, and other indicators of labor progress.
  • Administer medications, including epidurals and induction agents, as prescribed.
  • Assist patients during all stages of labor, including natural births, assisted deliveries, and cesarean sections.
  • Provide immediate postpartum care to mothers, including monitoring complications such as bleeding or infection.
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment, such as fetal monitors and IV pumps.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in electronic medical systems.

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel
  • Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
  • BLS and NRP certifications required through the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery or women's health.
  • NICU/Level II SCN Training preferred.
