Shift
Night Shift
3×12 hours per week
19:00 – 07:00
Responsibilities:
Provide care in
labor
,
antepartum
,
triage
, and
transition
areas
Circulate for C-sections
and assist with deliveries
Perform
fetal monitoring
(external & internal)
Manage labor medications:
Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, antihypertensives
, etc.
Start/maintain
IVs
, draw blood, administer blood products
Provide
neonatal care
at delivery (APGAR scoring, baby transition)
Recognize and respond to
obstetric emergencies
Float to
Antepartum
when needed
Charting (Cerner preferred)
