Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,600 to $2,700 per week in Machias, ME

Position Title: Travel OB RN – Labor, Delivery, Postpartum (Nights)
Location: Down East Community Hospital, 11 Hospital Drive, Machias, ME 04654
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 10/27/2025
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
# of Positions: 1
Overtime: After 40 hours/week | OT & Holiday Rate: +$5/hr

The OB RN will independently provide holistic and individualized nursing care to patients across all stages of obstetric care, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients. Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while adhering to hospital policies and professional nursing standards. The role requires effective communication, strong clinical skills, and the ability to foster teamwork across departments.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience as an RN

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Licensure: Active Maine RN license (must be in hand)

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE

• Technical Skills: EMR – Cerner

• Other: COVID-19 vaccination required (per state mandate)
