Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor & Delivery Unit at a reputable healthcare facility in Ithaca, NY. This is a 13-week contract assignment with night shifts (3x12s), ideal for nurses with a strong background in maternal-child health who are looking for a travel opportunity or short-term placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

• Monitor fetal heart tones, labor progress, and maternal condition.

• Administer medications and assist with epidurals and other procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other members of the care team.

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional support throughout labor and delivery.
