Description:
We are seeking an OB/L&D Registered Nurse to work 3 shifts of 12 hours, either days or nights, with every other weekend or third weekend commitment.
The candidate must have experience working in Antepartum, OB Triage, Labor and Delivery, and Post-Partum care.
Candidates must possess the required certifications, including ACLS and NRP.
Please ensure that your primary residence is more than 25 miles from the facility.
Travelers must be able to work holidays as needed.
It is imperative that all candidates have the appropriate license and certification documentation available prior to submission.
The position requires excellent skills in couplet care, labor and delivery, and postpartum education.
Familiarity with external fetal monitoring and the recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable performing triage of obstetrical patients and conducting non-stress tests.
Experience with neonatal resuscitation is highly valued.
The daily patient census can range from 1-8 patients, and the candidate should be prepared to manage patient care effectively within this range.
Interdisciplinary collaboration with various support services is a key component of this role.
