Candidates must possess a valid state license. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. New travelers are welcome to apply. One holiday during the contract period is required. RTO restrictions should be requested upfront if possible. Travelers may be required to participate in holiday rotation. Candidates may float as "Helping Hands" to other units if needed. Local candidates within a 70-mile radius are not accepted. Special requirements include knowledge of specific nursing protocols and charting systems. Candidates should have skills in administration of medications, patient assessments, and labor support. Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonatal care is essential. Competence in using medical equipment and performing various nursing procedures is necessary. The role involves providing care for both mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum. Candidates must complete any required modules prior to start.
