Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Pending License accepted Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Preferred Must-Have: - L&D, Postpartum, and C-Section experience - Flexibility to float between like units - Weekend required: Yes, every other weekend Description: This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The role requires 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. Candidates with L&D, Postpartum, and C-Section experience are preferred. Certifications in BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate are required. First-timers are accepted for this position. Weekends will be required every other week. Candidates may be requested to be on-call. Individuals must be willing to float between similar units within the facility. Locals residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this contract. All requested time off must be included with the application submission. Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, and adults. The average number of facility births per month is 100-200. The department utilizes EPIC for charting. Two professional references covering the last three years are mandatory during the compliance process.
