1 prior travel assignment
Charge experience preferred
Triage experience preferred
Description:
Labor and Delivery RN position available.
NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM through NCC are required.
High-risk Labor and Delivery experience is necessary.
This position requires the ability to circulate and perform fetal heart monitoring.
Preceptor and charge nurse experience is preferred.
Call is required, with 36 hours in 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period.
Must be on premises within 45 minutes of receiving call.
Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required.
Floating within skillset is expected, including Mom/Baby and postpartum.
Candidates should have 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years.
Certification requirements include C-EFM through NCC, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
Responsibilities include the administration of blood products and managing various aspects of obstetric care.
Ability to assist with high-risk deliveries, circumcision and provide postpartum care is essential.
Experience with neonatal resuscitation and managing abnormal fetal heart rate patterns is preferred.
Candidates will be responsible for discharge teaching, patient assessment, and supporting breastfeeding.
Familiarity with charting systems is necessary.
This position includes care for neonates and adults with a daily census of approximately 4 patients.
