Description:
This is a travel RN position focused on Labor & Delivery.
The unit has 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs.
There are 60 staff members on the unit.
The night shift includes 1 charge RN, 2-3 Labor & Delivery RNs, and 2-3 Postpartum RNs.
Patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:2 maximum for Labor & Delivery, and 3:1 for Postpartum per AWHONN guidelines.
The unit uses Beacon EMR and Meditech / CPN.
Prior Meditech experience and Postpartum experience are highly preferred.
Typical procedures performed on the unit include versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&C procedures.
Candidates must be adaptable, flexible, and consistent.
