Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, FHM, NRP Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic - Skills in labor and delivery processes Description: The registered nurse will provide care in the Labor and Delivery unit. The nurse will manage patients through antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases. The role includes assisting with high-risk deliveries and other related procedures. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing assessments, and monitoring patients. The nurse will support breastfeeding and educate patients on postpartum care. The position requires a strong understanding of emergency protocols and interventions. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care. The role may involve working weekends and holidays as required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using a variety of medical equipment and technology.
