The unit has a staff of 120. Staff types include charge nurses, patient care technicians, surgical technicians, and registered nurses. Patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:2. Equipment used includes Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring. The electronic medical record system is Cerner with fetal ink. Candidates should be outgoing, friendly, and adaptable. Common procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst. Preferred qualifications include circulating experience. Weekends and on-call shifts may be available upon approval.
