We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery to join a dedicated healthcare team in Watsonville, California. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns while enjoying the beautiful California coast.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced assessment skills.
  • Assist physicians and midwives during labor, deliveries, and emergency obstetric procedures.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and patient education.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to obstetric emergencies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Accurately document patient assessments and interventions.

Requirements

  • Active California RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
