Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in South Weymouth, Massachusetts.

Position Description: Local candidates at $10 less Registered Nurse in Birthing Unit: 40 hours per week on the night shift ***2 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m and 2 8hr shifts*** 2 years. MUST have circulating exp Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, recent EFM at least intermediate required Preferred Certifications (not required): (Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics). Perinatal NCC Certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing - Level I and Postpartum or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing - Labor and birth). First Latch (breastfeeding certification)
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
- One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
- Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
- Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required
- Computer proficiency required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
