Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care for obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. The position requires a strong focus on high-risk pregnancies, maternal emergencies, and high-level patient support, with the ability to float between units as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: at least 1 year of experience, valid state license (compact license preferred), certifications in ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, and NRPS; experience with adult cardiac arrest, high risk delivery, sterile speculum exams, vaginal delivery assistance, epidural anesthesia, cesarean section, neonatal resuscitation, and use of Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-risk obstetrics, trauma level II experience, and previous experience with Epic charting system.
  • Additional Information: The role involves assisting with high-risk pregnancies, maternal emergencies, multiple gestations, NICU support, and maternal health assessments. Candidates must be flexible to float between units, work overnight shifts, and commit to working three of the five major holidays.
