Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Florence, Alabama. This role involves providing essential postpartum and fetal monitoring care in a dedicated labor and delivery unit. The candidate will be responsible for managing normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, and other obstetric conditions, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS or ALS-OB certification, NRP certification, Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification, BLS certification, minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in labor and delivery, and ability to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with postpartum care, fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, and time management skills.
  • Additional Information: The unit has 9 beds, with patient ratios of 1:1. Equipment includes electronic fetal monitoring systems like Centricity and Meditech. The team values adaptability, strong communication, attention to detail, empathy, stamina, and being a team player.
