Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Kansas. This is a true L&D position requiring the ability to provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care throughout the perinatal continuum. The nurse will also float within the Women's Services department and assist with postpartum, couplet care, newborn nursery, and OB/GYN post-operative patients as needed.

 

Requirements

  • Active Kansas RN License
  • Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience, including Labor & Delivery
  • Previous travel experience required – must have successfully completed at least 2 travel assignments
  • First-time travelers will not be considered
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NRP (AHA)
  • Must reside more than 45 miles from the facility (distance must be included in the submission packet)
  • Must complete:
    • Pre-employment compliance drug screen
    • On-site drug screen during facility orientation (FDI)
