Floor: 2nd Floor
Unit Size: 10 beds
Charting: Meditech with CPN
Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends based on the collective bargaining agreement

Position Overview

Seeking a highly experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a busy maternal-care unit providing labor, delivery, operative obstetric, and immediate recovery care. Candidates must be clinically independent, collaborative, and comfortable working within a census-based staffing model.

Required Experience

• Minimum 4 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Strong experience with vaginal deliveries
• C-section experience
• Comfortable supporting L&D operating room procedures
• Must work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Required Credentials

• Active California RN license
• Current BLS

Common Procedures

• Vaginal deliveries
• Cesarean sections
• Labor management
• Obstetric operating room procedures
• Additional Labor and Delivery surgical cases

Staffing and Support

Staffing varies based on patient census and may include:

• Charge Nurse
• Registered Nurses
• Unit Clerk
• Surgical Technologist
