Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery / Nursery / Postpartum

Location: Carthage, Tennessee

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 36 Hours/Week (3x12s)

Join Highpoint Health – Riverview with Ascension St. Thomas, a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Carthage and the surrounding communities of Middle Tennessee. Located along the scenic Cumberland River and just an hour from Nashville, this hospital provides personalized maternity care in a close-knit, team-oriented environment.

Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates.

Position Details

• Schedule: 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Openings: 1
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/as needed
• Call: Three 12-hour call shifts every 4-week schedule
• Float: As needed

• 2 Labor & Delivery beds
• 3 Postpartum beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Patient Population:
  • Maternity patients
  • Newborns
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech

Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license (or compact license if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Must be able to independently work in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum
• Experience with fetal monitoring required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• AWHONN required
• NRP required
• Couplet care experience preferred

• Meditech and Centricity experience preferred
