Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) located in Devils Lake, North Dakota. This position involves providing direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. The nurse will coordinate patient care, facilitate discharge planning, and ensure the safety and well-being of patients within the L&D department.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license in North Dakota or a Compact State Agreement; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) from the American Academy of Pediatrics; STABLE certification; at least 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant setting
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in labor and delivery or perinatal units, specialty certifications in obstetrics nursing, and knowledge of neonatal assessments
  • Additional Information: The RN will perform patient assessments, develop plans of care, respond to emergency situations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Discharge education and patient advocacy are integral components of this role. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and participation in ongoing education.
