Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/OB position requiring 2+ years of OB experience and an active Michigan RN license.

Details

  • Hospital-based Labor & Delivery/OB unit setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour weekly guarantee
  • Weekend and holiday coverage required
  • On-call responsibilities required as needed
  • Delegates to and oversees Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, OB Care Associates, Surgical Service Assistants, Nursing Clerks, and Psychiatric Techs

Requirements

  • Active Michigan RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of OB nursing experience required
  • Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN
  • AWHONN certification must have been obtained within the last two years
  • Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized plans of care
  • Provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care plans
  • Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment
