Job Summary
The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby Couplet Care at a community healthcare facility located in Missoula, Montana. This role involves providing compassionate and expert postpartum and neonatal care within the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit. The RN will be responsible for ensuring quality patient care during the postpartum and newborn period, supporting families through their transition home, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, working days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, experience in Labor and Delivery as well as postpartum and neonatal care, 1-2 years of relevant experience, and must possess or be willing to obtain required certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Mother/Baby Couplet Care and strong patient communication skills.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within a 25-mile radius of the facility.
  • Additional Information: The role involves caring for postpartum mothers and their newborns, supporting family education, and maintaining adherence to facility protocols and standards. Candidates should be adaptable, compassionate, and able to manage a varied patient ratio based on daily census.
