Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Kettering, Ohio. This 12-week contract requires candidates with at least two years of RN experience and one year of labor and delivery (L&D) experience. The role involves providing specialized maternal care while floating to antepartum and postpartum units as needed, with a focus on supporting postpartum mothers.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, NIHSS certification, NRP certification, at least 2 years of RN experience, 1 year of L&D experience, Ohio licensure or compact state license, local candidates or those within 50 miles are not eligible
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating to antepartum and postpartum units; familiarity with care protocols for postpartum mothers
  • Float: Float rotation may be required; RNs only float to antepartum and rarely to maternal-baby units to care for postpartum moms
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be available to start on 08/24/2026. This assignment involves adherence to facility-specific policies and protocols for labor and delivery care and may include participating in on-call shifts if required.
