Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience or related maternal/newborn nursing experience required
• Experience working in both L&D and NICU settings required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Fetal monitoring experience required
• Strong background in postpartum care, newborn care, and antepartum care, including monitoring
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience
• Deliver antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Support fetal monitoring and identify changes in maternal and fetal status
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
• Float between Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed
• Promote patient safety, education, and positive birth experiences
• Care for a diverse urban patient population with a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
• Adapt to changing acuity while maintaining excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
