Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing inpatient obstetric care within a Level II NICU-capable facility. The position requires navigating labor, postpartum, and neonatal patient care, with responsibilities involving a mix of clinical skills and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, current certifications including ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP. Candidates must have experience in labor and postpartum care, neonatal resuscitation, and charting experience with the Epic electronic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: NICU or Level II nursery experience, previous charge nurse experience, and experience floating between units or facilities.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between related units or facilities.
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for neonatal, adolescent, infant, and adult patient populations, with approximately 10 patients daily. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in procedures such as assisting with high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, amnioinfusion, and fetal monitoring. Must be willing to work every other weekend and be flexible with block scheduling.
