Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role involves working within the labor and delivery unit, providing patient care during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including evening shifts, with an emphasis on dependable and skilled healthcare professionals.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, with schedule flexibility including two evening shifts and one morning shift per week or alternating weekly shifts.
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), 2+ years of labor and delivery experience, valid licensure in the state of Utah.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting experience, high-risk obstetrics skills, experience with procedures such as inductions, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum care, magnesium sulfate, insulin drips.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2.
  • Equipment: Fetal monitoring equipment, labor beds, delivery tables.
  • EMR: Epic.
  • On Call Requirements: Optional.
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend, with up to 4 weekend shifts per month.
  • Additional Information: Up to 4 weekend shifts a month. Dependability and a team-oriented personality are highly valued.
