Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) at an organization located in Austin, Texas. Job Details:

  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery; certifications including NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); competency in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and SVE (Sterile Vaginal Examination)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Level IV high-volume units; internal monitor placement competency; previous employment in a high-acuity or tertiary care setting; familiarity with advanced obstetric procedures such as cerclages, TOLAC (Trial of Labor After Cesarean), and C-Sections
  • Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate team-oriented, positive attitudes, and adhere to dress code requirements (solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts; navy blue scrubs are not acceptable). The unit values a collaborative environment, ongoing staff development, and technological advancements in patient care.
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, covering days and nights as required.
