Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Denver, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks according to state Board of Nursing standards. The position requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a sensitive and efficient manner, contributing to positive maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: ASN (Associates of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse and certification as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
  • Responsible for health assessment, health teaching, therapy and treatment planning, medical function execution, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, documentation, and resource utilization.
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency based on business needs and to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
  • Performs all duties consistent with established safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
