Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-call coverage required for off-shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within an Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures unit
- Assist with catheterization lab and IR procedures in accordance with facility protocols
- Participate in on-call rotation to cover off-shift hours, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a 30-minute response requirement
- Accurately document patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records system
- Adhere to all facility policies, including tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment standards
- May provide care for patients with infectious conditions, including COVID-19
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license restrictions
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Ability to meet on-call obligations with a 30-minute response time
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong familiarity with IR and Special Procedures workflows and equipment
- Experience working in a high-acuity or procedural nursing environment
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed
