Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift – Varied 8-hour shifts with start times as early as 6:30 AM | 40 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology unit at a 1:1 patient ratio, averaging 4–6 cases per day
- Collaborate as part of a team consisting of one RN and two Radiology Technologists to support a variety of IR procedures
- Participate in a rotating weekend schedule, approximately every 5th to 6th weekend
- Fulfill weeknight on-call requirements as needed, with a 30-minute response time and a minimum 2-hour callback guarantee
- Float to other central locations within the health system as needed
- Adhere to all facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccination is declined
Required Qualifications- Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 4 years of RN experience
- Experience in fast-paced outpatient settings
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Prior Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures nursing experience
