    Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

    Location

    Salem, MA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide nursing care in the Interventional Radiology department, with rotating days split between the general Radiology unit and the IR suite
    • Perform patient preparation, procedural support, and post-procedure recovery for a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
    • Administer and monitor moderate/conscious sedation during IR procedures
    • Establish and manage IV access for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures
    • Collaborate closely with Interventional Radiologists and Technologists in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
    • Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
    Required Qualifications
    • Current and valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS and BLS certifications
    • Minimum of 3 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
    • Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care experience (ICU or Emergency Department)
    • Demonstrated proficiency in moderate sedation and IV access
    • Experience with EPIC EMR
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures setting
    • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to manage diverse and complex clinical cases
