Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered nursing care across the life cycle within the Interventional Radiology setting
- Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Coordinate care among disciplines and delegate activities to other patient care providers as appropriate
- Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practice standards and the environment of care
- Apply unit-based clinical skills and competencies specific to the IR specialty area
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota
- Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience (Emergency Department or ICU)
- Prior Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Experience working with an adult patient population
- Current skills checklist pertinent to the specialty (within the past year) and verifiable work history required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records system
- Stroke patient care experience
