    Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting, supporting a wide range of radiologic and vascular procedures
    • Assist with procedures including port placements, Y-90 treatments, liver and abdominal biopsies, deep bone biopsies, G-tube placements, CVC placement/removal/replacement, PCN placement, and IVC filter placement and removal
    • Administer and monitor sedation medications including Versed, Fentanyl, and Dilaudid, as well as antibiotics, in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
    • Care for oncology and vascular patient populations undergoing specialized interventional and MRI-guided procedures
    • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, responding to changes in condition as appropriate
    Required Qualifications
    • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Georgia or compact licensure eligibility
    • Prior experience in Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, or a related procedural nursing environment
    • Competency with moderate/conscious sedation administration and monitoring
    • Familiarity with vascular access procedures and radiologic interventional techniques
    • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with oncology patient populations and cancer-related interventional procedures such as Y-90 radioembolization
    • Familiarity with adrenal vein sampling and other advanced diagnostic procedures
    • Experience in a high-acuity academic or large hospital setting
