Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath lab, procedural areas, ICU, or ER. License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience. - Experience with moderate sedation administration for procedures. - IV start experience required. - Previous travel assignment required. Description: The position is for an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse on a day shift. The shift runs from 07:00 to 17:30. The role requires the administration of moderate sedation for procedures. Candidates must have recent experience and demonstrate proficiency in IV starts. The RN will cover one weekend call every 4-6 weeks, with no other weekend requirements. Weekday call is expected once every other week. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 25 to 35 patients. The unit performs various interventional radiology procedures. The role requires knowledge and skills in specific interventional procedures. All employees are required to have the flu vaccine. Candidates must provide two supervisory references. No requested time off is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Any requested time off must be submitted during the application process. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork and communication skills. Candidates must complete facility-specific training modules upon hire. All compliance requirements must be met prior to starting the role.
