Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: 18 months experience required; 2 years preferred License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have: Must respond to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call Description: Position requires a Registered Nurse with specialty in Interventional Radiology. The role involves circulating procedures in Interventional Radiology and caring for patients in the prep and recovery phase. First-time travelers are accepted. Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required. The position requires on-call responsibilities. All time-sensitive training modules must be prioritized once confirmed for the assignment. Travelers must be nicotine-free as this is a smoke-free facility. A negative drug screen, including nicotine, is required prior to start. There is no tolerance for license hits. Two references from a direct supervisor, manager or director for the unit are required. Travelers will be notified if they fail the EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation. All required time-off must be communicated before submission, as late requests are unlikely to be approved.
