Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care / Step-Down unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a general medical-surgical floor
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit environment
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
