Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care across Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, and Observation units within a large academic medical center system spanning two campuses
• Float throughout multiple Adult Health units as part of a resource float pool, supporting staffing needs across departments including PCU, Med-Surg, and Observation teams
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to a diverse adult patient population with varying acuity levels
• Adapt to varying unit environments and patient populations, including occasional coverage in the ED or PACU for adult inpatient patients awaiting bed placement
• Complete required facility learning modules prior to and during assignment to maintain compliance

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (no disciplinary actions on license; verified within the last 30 days)
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Valid driver's license required for residency verification
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months

• Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred
• Experience working in a large, high-acuity academic or Level I Trauma center environment
• Flexibility with unit assignments, shifts, and departments to support placement efficiency
