    Registered Nurse – IMC / Stepdown (Night Shift)

    Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed IMC unit with a 1:4–5 nurse-to-patient ratio serving an adult population
    • Perform and manage IV starts, port access, PICC lines, and central and peripheral line care, including blood product administration
    • Deliver respiratory care including trach management, oxygen delivery systems (nasal cannula, masks, HFNC, CPAP/BiPAP), chest tube management, and ABG interpretation
    • Administer and monitor cardiac and vasoactive drips, heparin protocols, PCA, and procedural sedation per protocol
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and provide cardiovascular care including post-MI and post-cardiac cath patients
    • Perform wound care, wound vac management, feeding tube management, pre/post hemodialysis care, isolation precautions, and participate in rapid response team activations
    Required Qualifications
    • Active South Carolina RN license or active multistate (Compact) RN license — pending licenses not accepted
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience; experience in neuro stepdown and cardiac telemetry required
    • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
    • Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
    • Must not be a first-time travel nurse — prior travel experience required
    • Ability to float to other qualified units or campuses as needed based on census
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with renal failure management and hemodialysis care
    • Familiarity with Emerson and Pleur-evac chest tube systems
    • Prior experience in a Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital setting
