Key Responsibilities- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
- Deliver direct patient care in a Med Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care (Step-Down) unit setting.
- Utilize EPIC EMR to document and manage patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
- May be required to float to the Emergency Department.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of previous step-down or PCU/IMC experience required.
- Active Iowa RN license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association required.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
- Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with EPIC EMR.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
