    Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services in accordance with the physician-authorized plan of care and evidence-based nursing practice standards.
    • Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, patient education, responding to call lights and alarms, and assisting with transfers.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to update or revise care plans based on current clinical information.
    • Function as a team leader and resource, delegating and providing direction to support staff as appropriate.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations as well as facility-specific policies and procedures.
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
    • Neuro PCU experience required.
    • Active Michigan RN license in good standing (verified through LARA and/or Nursys).
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification.
    • Active NIHSS Certification.
    • Current PCU Skills Checklist completed within the past year.
    • Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Recent travel nursing work history is highly preferred.
    • Experience in a high-acuity progressive care or step-down unit environment.
