Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown / Progressive Care (Nights)

Key Responsibilities- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Stepdown / Progressive Care unit setting
- Maintain safe patient assignments in alignment with unit ratios (night shift 1:5 / 1:6)
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Stepdown / Progressive Care experience required
- Active Illinois RN license at time of submission required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
- Current ACLS certification through AHA or ARC required
- Skills checklist specific to Stepdown / Progressive Care required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Active Iowa RN license preferred
- Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
