Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care / Stepdown unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a general medical-surgical floor
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a valid Compact State RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Prior experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an intermediate care setting
